Strengthening Partnerships for Cooperative Excellence: CRASoN and LASCOCO Deepen Collaboration Ahead of 7th Nigerian National Cooperative Awards

By Juliet Aladi

In a renewed push to elevate cooperative leadership and regulatory capacity across Nigeria, Hon. Victor Oyegoke, Special Assistant on Cooperatives & Farmers’ Welfare to the Honourable Minister of State for Agriculture & Food Security —and President of the Cooperative Rating & Award Society of Nigeria (CRASoN), met with the Provost of Lagos State Cooperative College (LASCOCO) for high-level deliberations on the upcoming 2nd National Cooperative Regulators’ Refresher Course & Retreat 2025.

The engagement, which ended with a warm handshake, signifies strengthened collaboration between CRASoN and LASCOCO as Lagos State prepares to co-host this strategic national programme scheduled for 20th–24th November 2025 at the LASCOCO Campus, Agege.

This elite programme is strictly by invitation and designed exclusively for:

Honourable Commissioners for Cooperatives

Permanent Secretaries

Directors of Cooperative Services

Provosts of Cooperative Colleges

Heads of Departments of Cooperative Studies in Universities and Polytechnics
