A vintage signed Sanuki Ittobori Daruma wood carving. Extra-large and hand-carved from a single block of wood (Sanuki Ittobori refers to a single-chisel carving tradition from the Sanuki/Kagawa region).
This piece weighs close to 14 lb and has a strong sculptural presence. It works well as a statement decor piece for an entryway, living room, or bedroom. It blends perfectly with Japandi and natural modern interiors, and also works well as decor for a Japanese restaurant.
