We have produced a knit based on the U.S. Marine Corps command sweater, with WAIPER's unique arrangements.
From the original design using a wool knit with a tight fit, we changed the material to a low-gauge 100% cotton. By resizing it to a relaxed fit, the design has a more relaxed mood, softening the ruggedness.
The patches on the shoulders and elbows, which are symbolic of the command sweater, are still present. We've added a detail that allows you to have fun with the sleeve ends by creating thumbholes in the cuffs.
The loose silhouette, with a relaxed fit that covers the hips, is attractive. This cotton knit, which doesn't have the scratchiness typical of knitwear, is a unique piece.
This is an item that can be enjoyed by both men and women and is perfect for everyday wear.
