Vintage clear glass apothecary jar with a finial lid and a footed pedestal base. Originally used by pharmacists for storage, these jars are now popular decorative and functional items for home decor and events. They are commonly used for holding dry goods, candies, cotton balls, or seasonal ornaments. This jar is made of glass and features a lid for closure. Hand washing is often recommended for their care. Measures approx 11" tall x 7-1/2" wide. Excellent vintage condition (no cracks or repairs…one tiny flea bite on inside of lid rim as shown in last pic).
