Vintage cream and olive green lidded casserole or serving bowl from Aluminia, the earthenware division of Royal Copenhagen, featuring the Trina pattern with clean Scandinavian modern linework and an organic geometric repeat design emblematic of peak Danish modern style.
measures 6.5" in diameter, bowl is 3" deep, and the lid adds about 0.75", and it weighs 1 lb 12 oz.
The underside stamped Denmark, TRINA, and 3467, with a hand-painted decorators blue slash mark indicating Aluminia production between 1964 and 1969. The glaze is beautifully crisp with no visible chips or cracks, and it retains its original lid, which shows some wear from being stored inverted.
