Vtg 1968 Regatta Board Game by 3M COMPLETE with 3 Islands, 24 Cards & All Pieces

For sale is a Vintage Regatta Board Game manufactured by 3M in 1968. Different editions of the game offer varied components and suggested courses. This is the 1968 edition, which is the most expansive version including three islands and 24 cards.

This particular set is VIRTUALLY COMPLETE with all of the original cards and pieces, as well as the original instruction manual. However, it is MISSING the original 3M Bookshelf Games and 3M Sports Game brochure insert.

The laminated game box is in VERY GOOD condition overall, although the plastic on the closure tab has started to separate from the metal snap fastener. As a result, the box cannot be properly closed and secured as originally designed. I would suggest a piece of clear duct tape or a large rubber band to remedy this issue.

All of the cards and game pieces are in EXCELLENT to LIKE NEW condition with minimal flaws. The instruction manual is in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT condition with no major flaws.
