Charming mid-century Putz-style "Jingle Bells" Christmas house from Japan, probably dating to the 1950s. Features a mica-dusted snowy roof, a sweet chenille Santa figure with a celluloid face, and a built-in wind-up music box (currently non-working). Classic cardboard construction with glitter accents captures the cozy sparkle of vintage holiday villages.
Condition: Music box does not play though used to play "Jingle Bells", chimney cardboard collapses easily, and evergreen tree lays a bit sideways; wear consistent with vintage display use and storage. Does come with original box.
A wonderful display piece for collectors of mid-century or Japanese holiday décor.
