Large vintage wooden box or table chest featuring a faux tortoise Like finish. This chest is fairly large, rectangular shaped and heavy with a hinged lid and strong magnetic closure. It is approximately 12" tall (with lid closed) 10.75" wide, 7.5" front to back and 5" deep when open. The wood interior is painted brown. The outside has a tortoise like finish, the lid and legs are ornately carved, and the bottom edge is decorated with scrolling decorative metal. This chest is in nice vintage condition but there are a few areas missing paint along the edges and on the legs.
