Beautiful and highly collectible vintage Weiss “Sugarplum Tree” clip-on earrings from Weiss’ Sugarplum design line, an early-1960s holiday series known for dimensional forms and sparkling Swarovski Margarita rhinestones. This style was featured in Weiss’ seasonal magazine advertisements and is also a book piece, pictured in Christmas Jewelry, Revised 3rd Edition by Mary Morrison, page 81. Each earring features multi-color Swarovski Margarita stones, vivid sapphire-blue chatons, red rhinestone flowers, and crystal accents set into an antiqued gold-tone sculptural holiday tree form with rope-twist detailing. Signed WEISS on the reverse. A standout example of Weiss’ premium holiday craftsmanship.
