Authentic Vintage U.S. Military Flyer’s Helmet Bag in olive drab green. Issued under contract DLA 100-85-C (mid-1980s) with NSN 8415-00-782-2989. Made in the USA for Air Force and Army aviators to carry helmets and flight gear.
Features padded nylon shell, quilted ripstop interior, dual carry handles, interior slip pocket, and original Talon zipper. The metal hook on the front is part of the original design and was used to secure the fold-over flap on early helmet bags.
Condition
Vintage military surplus with normal wear:
• small spots + white dots on exterior
• light marks and creasing
• zipper works (pull string replaced)
• no major holes or tears
Overall sturdy and functional.
