This is a vintage powder jar, likely from the mid-20th century, made of pressed glass with a hammered aluminum lid and a brown knob. The glass base is made of thick, pressed glass with a starburst pattern on the bottom, while the lid is hammered aluminum with a celluoid knob. Design is Art Deco-inspired. These jars were commonly used on dressing tables or in bathrooms to hold body powder, trinkets, or other small vanity items. Measures 4.5"Wx3"H. There is a small bubble on the rim shown in the pictures.
