Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Morenci Deep Blue Turquoise Ring Size 6 1/2

This vintage sterling silver ring boasts an oval deep blue Morenci turquoise cab set in a strip bezel with a berry border. If you look closely you can see the small detail of the top of the "blueberry" opening that points inward toward the stone. The cab measures 18mm long by 12mm wide. It has a black matrix with fine speckled pyrite inclusions and is polished to a smooth glossy finish. The sides of the shank are adorned with stampwork which resembles a sunrise. It measures about 1" in total length.

This ring is vintage (pre-1970) & pre-owned and shows minor signs of wear. I performed both a "hot-needle" test and a "scratch" test on the stone. The ring is not stamped to indicate the purity of the metal, but I tested the metal with a GTE silver acid test. The results (red) indicate sterling silver. The metal is also not magnetic.
