Vintage, marked, ceramic wall hanging pocket planter produced by the Lviv Ceramics and Sculpture Factory (LKSF) in the Ukrainian SSR during the Soviet era. The factory played a notable role in Ukrainian culture and artists’ work from 1946 to early 90s.
Scene depicts figures of a farming couple with their ox and cart standing in the forest. Features a pocket at the top for a decorative plant or flower arrangement and a hole for hanging on the wall.
Measures approximately 12L x 9H x 2.5D inches. Heavy piece at just over 3lbs. Very good condition.
