Vintage 1970’s Joe St. Clair Glass Bird Figurine/ Hand Blown Art Glass Bird Artisan Created Sculpture /Figurine / Paperweight- Hand Blown
This stylized art glass piece is an excellent example of Joe St. Clair's classic artisan crafted - hand blown bird sculptures. This unique little glass creature features butterscotch colored ripples deep within its plump body. These exquisite inclusions are enhanced by the magnifying effect of the solid glass. The bird figurine has an elongated tail, a well proportioned round head and short beak. Tiny air bubbles are present in the art glass as well as a pontil mark on the base - a result of the glass marker's tool.
It measures about 4 inches long and about 3 inches tall.
This piece would make a lovely addition to an art glass collection or a thoughtful gift for a bird lover.
