Two small chips to underside of rectangle lid as shown in last two pictures. These do not affect the functionality and are not noticeable with lid on upright.
The "Jadeite Fire King" brand was first produced by the United States glassware firm Anchor Hocking in the 1940s. Most of Anchor Hocking's output of Jadeite was between 1945 and 1975. A durable product in a fashionable color, it became the most popular product made by Anchor Hocking.
Markings printed backward do not affect value; although uncommon, they are occasionally seen. Some backward markings were originally intended for clear glass dishes to be read through the bottom, a design that transferred to Jadeite milk glass despite it not being a practical choice.
