This is a unique statement brooch from the mid-century era. It is quite large, measuring 3.5 inches from point to point, and made of dark antique-looking metal mesh in the shape of a 5-point star or flower. In the center is a 1.5" diameter glass cabochon that has a tortoiseshell design with brown streaks going through it. There is no signature. The pin and safety catch are in good working order. A very stunning brooch for fall!
