This is a gorgeous vintage miniature figurine of Butch, the much beloved Cocker Spaniel! The dog was companion and model for the famous artist, Albert Staehle. This ceramic figurine was crafted in the 1950s by Hagen-Renaker Potteries, of California. Known for their quality animal figurines, this was a perfect match for Butch! Sitting on his haunches, with his big eyes looking up, a lot of care has been put into his design. His molded fur is detailed and wavy, and he even has a collar and tag built right in! He's been glazed in white, with deep brown spots and speckles, and bright, chocolate colored eyes. His collar has been glazed a light blue, and his tag is a sunny yellow.
