This 1950’s era Schildkrot Tortulon (turtle marked) doll is made of celluloid and belonged to a woman who grew up in the Netherlands. She bears the turtle mark #29 on her back and is approx 11 inches tall.
She wears her original dress and felt coat. The underpants appear to be hand sewn. She also has white socks and baby blue Maryjane shoes that are marked “Cinderella” on the bottom.
She is in remarkable vintage condition; limbs are all attached but strings have loosened with time.
She was dearly loved by her owner, who kept her all her life.
