Vintage hinged, lidded painted box made by Cragston, Japan. High gloss black painted (possibly lacquered) background with slightly three dimensional, brightly colored red & pink flowers.
The box is in good structural condition, but the key is missing. There is some paint chipping throughout which gives it a lovely patina.
Measures approx 7 x 6 x 2.5 inches and weighs 9oz before packaging.
