This listing is for a piece of stunning hand embroidered material. I absolutely love the boldness of both the color and the pattern of this fabric. The material appears to be wool or wool blend. The large embroidery is done in a "bib" like configuration, so I wonder if the original intention for that part was to be used around a neckline of a dress or tunic. Perhaps the two small embroidered borders would go around the cuffs.
The material measures 33 x 90". The large embroidery measures 8 1/2" in width and 17" in height. The two strips of embroidery measure about 1 x 14". The material is in nice vintage condition.
