Beautiful vintage Dutch windmill salt and pepper grinder set, featuring solid wood tops and bases with blue-and-white ceramic centers. The ceramic bodies show a classic Dutch windmill village scene, similar to traditional Delft-style designs, like Delft blue (Delfts blauw).
Both grinders open at the top with brass knobs and have metal grinding mechanisms on the bottom. They stand tall and make a great farmhouse, cottage, or European-themed kitchen decor piece.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Light signs of age on the wood and brass tops, consistent with normal vintage wear. Ceramic areas are clean with no cracks or chips. Some shadows in photos may look like marks, but these are only from lighting—the set is in very nice shape.
