This nice drop front desk was made by Lynnfield and distributed by Block House in the 40s-50s. The desk has the little brass knobs for drawer pulls and depict early versions of Lynnfield furniture. It has 3 functional bow front drawers. The free chair and accessories are included in this listing. The chair may be a later version (possibly Sonia Messer) and has a lighter mahogany finish than the desk. The accessories include a pewter inkwell and some cardboard pieces of mail probably made by a previous owner.
