Joseph Warner Day and night Mechanical flower gold tone, brooch , signed Warner on the back.
This brooch can be seen in Costume Jewelry 101 on page 259 by Julia C. Carroll.. The flower petals open and close. You open the flower by sliding the leaf. This brooch is really unique and in good vintage condition. The only issue is the original screw that holds the head of the flower was replaced at some point. It doesn’t affect the movement of the brooch. The sold comps on this brooch are quite high. Last two pictures are what the brooch sold for on eBay.
