Vintage Bakelite Bangle Bracelets Set Of 3 Dark Rusty Red & Dark Forest Green

Set of 3 vintage Bakelite bangles, 2 dark red & 1 dark forest green (almost black) Passed the tests for genuine Bakelite-the 409 swab test & the hot water & rubbing vigorously smell test Also have that heavier clunk when tapped together that other resin plastics do not have Unmarked so maker unknown Bakelite jewelry was made by many factories in the US and abroad from 1904 through the 1940s All 3 of these bangles have smooth shiny rounded outer surfaces & flat inner surfaces Very good preowned condition with very faint scratches from wear (tried to show in photos but hard to see) 2 deep red ones have 1/2” wide band, is 3” diameter side to side, with a 2 1/2” diameter opening for slipping your hand through Each red one weighs 0.6 ounces or 17 grams Dark green bangle has a 5/8” wide band, is also 3” diameter side to side, with the same 2 1/2” diameter hand opening It weighs 0.9 ounces or 25.5 grams See all photos to evaluate appearance & condition Thanks for looking!
