This listing is for a large vintage US 48 star flag made by Valley Forge Flag Company right here in the USA. The flag is made of cotton and features sewn/double-stitched stripes as well as stitched stars on both sides of the flag.The flag is quite large measuring 5 x 9 1/2'. The poll end is reinforced and there are two brass grommets for mounting the flag. Likely manufactured in the 1940s. The flag, while used, has a lot of life left in it. Aside from slight discoloration likely left by exposure to moisture/fading and one small repair in the blue area of the flag, there are no other significant issues to disclose.
