This lot of bamboo wool yarn was sold by Ben Franklin stores the vast majority of which went out of business in the late 1990's. However, a few stores remain & these skeins of yarn were likely sold in 2008 according to their price tags (11-08) as this kind of yarn was not produced by Moda-Dea until 2007. It is now discontinued. It's expensive wool: each skein was sold for $7.79! The fiber content is a 55/45 percent blend of bamboo rayon & wool. It is quite heavyweight with each skein weighing about 3 ounces/80+ grams. The skeins look unused still in their paper wrappers.
The six skeins are vibrantly colored with deep jewel tones:
