Vintage 1950s Broadway Theater Costume
This is a single-breasted, navy blue United States Air Force, police or military-style dress uniform coat with gold buttons.
I have several amazing vintage pieces from Broadway Theater storage. The items are handmade, up-cycled from prominent theatrical costume designers that supplied costumes for Broadway shows, circuses, cruises, and films for many years. Some items have actual actor names written in the garment. The history of these items is wild to think about!

It is not in perfect condition. It may need a water soak. There is a a stitch on the seam that is loose, but I don’t think it has any effect. Overall the condition is great for its age.
