This is an early 1950s vintage, new in box (significant evaporation, see photos) with internal plug intact, made in France, original and authentic (Reference Number: 4018), Fantasio eau de cologne splash by Bourjois. Neither the bottle or box contain a liquid volume; so, I am approximating the bottle's total volume as being around 2-ounces (60ml) with around one ounce remaining. The buyer will receive the exact item pictured.
The original retail box has a tear in the upper left front corner and there is some residue on the exterior bottom flap. However, the two metallic paper labels on the front of the bottle and the base label are fully intact and in magnificent condition considering the age of this item. Additionally, the bright magenta Bakelite cap is in excellent condition.
Fantasio was originally launched in 1950 in France and in 1951 in the USA. It was quickly discontinued and virtually no information or advertising exists regarding its fragrance notes.
