First printing of the first authorized paperback edition of The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien (Ballantine Books, 1965). Book two in the classic high fantasy series, The Lord of the Rings. Some rubbing/scuffing to covers and moderate shelf wear around the edges. Corners slightly bumped and creased. Fore edge of front cover worn. Spine is straight and binding is firm though is faintly and partially visible in gutter of last page of book. All pages remain attached. Tanning to back cover, spine, and pages.
