True vintage boxed set from the former department store Strawbridge & Clothier! What a great find! Multi-strand faux pearl choker necklace and matching screw-back earring set. The necklace features multiple strands of small, uniform pearls twisted together in a rope or torsade style, creating a thick, collar-like effect. The accompanying ~ 1" long earrings are designed as clusters of the same small pearls and use a screw-back closure mechanism, which is a strong indicator of an older, potentially vintage (circa 1940s-1960s) design.
Condition - appears to be brand new, never worn.
Both pieces will be packaged in the original jewelry box shown. Someone wrote contents on the box, see pics.
