Set of 2- Lucie Kaas Bordfolk egg cups figurines

This is a Lucie Kaas Bordfolk egg holders. They are part of a collection that revives Danish-designed egg holders from the 1950s-1970s. The figures are made of beech wood and are hand-painted. The design is a tribute to the traditional Norwegian folk costumes, known as bunads. Colorful little egg holders are a joy to look at with their simple design and colorful outfits appealing to the child within all of us. With the collection ”Bordfolk” the Danish design company Lucie Kaas has given new life to the Danish designed egg holders which could be found on every breakfast table in the 1960’s and 1970’s. Like new condition with no wear, made in Denmark. Each measures 3” tall x 2” wide (at widest points). Thank you!
