Royal Albert Val D’Or was first introduced in 1960, featuring beautiful white bone china with ridges and a premium gold trim. The inspiration for the pottery came from the city Val d'Or in Quebec, Canada, where a gold deposit was discovered in 1923.
Val D’Or China was manufactured about 50 years before production ended in 2009. This high-end design continues to be popular amongst chinoiserie collectors today & is ideal for formal occasions. The Val D’Or collection is an outstanding addition to any collection. It's of premium quality,luxurious appearance and feel that Only Royal Albert has.
The set is in great shape and has been well cared for over the years. No known imperfections noted.
