Approximately 5” tall 5”wide Reptile pot Hand Thrown Art Pottery made in Durango Mexico.
This unique and beautiful ceramic water or tea pot features a sculpted lizard-like creature forming the handle and spout, with geometric patterns painted on the body and the tail is removable to put in the water. It is a one of a kind piece and signed on the bottom “DURANGO MEX” The style is reminiscent of Mayan or Aztec folk art from the region.
