Overview:
Written by castle researchers and historians from each region, this series basically covers castles, fortresses, and residences throughout Japan.
Currently out of print, although research on individual castles and regional history continues to progress with the discovery of new materials and the implementation of excavation surveys, no comprehensive castle books have been published since. This series has had a significant impact on subsequent basic research.
