Set of 5 Vintage Mikasa Brand Placemats from the 1970’s. Called “The Mikasa Checkerboard.”
Have been stored in the plastic wrapper for over 50 years! This is a true MidCentury Modern item with classic 1950’s to 1970’s shiny vinyl on top and rubber on bottom — thick and heavy placemats. These are exactly the style and look and weight of placemats that your parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents ate upon.
Dimensions: 17 1/2” wide, 11 1/4” wide. All 5 weigh 3 lbs total.
