Mid-century chartreuse green velvet ladies hat with bright green feather bird. This stunning hat was designed by Gertrude Menczer of St. Louis, Missouri in the 1950s. It is made with an absolutely lovely chartreuse green velvet and accented with a hand made bird made of bright green feathers. The folds of velvet reflect the light so well, the true color is hard to capture. It is a must-see and is sure to bring the wearer many glowing compliments!
The inside circumference is approximately 20.5" which is about 6.25" diameter. Please measure the wearer's head, or another well-fitting hat, carefully to ensure a good fit. This type of hat is usually worn tilted slightly back on the head.
