Watch is a Swiss made chronometer with a hi-beat movement in it. It is a front loader after popping the bezel off. The back does state it is a chronometer from Switzerland. Original crown, aftermarket gold filled Spiedel band. Case is badlse metal electroplated with a 20 micron plating. Sets, runs and keeps great time. Also has a quick date function where one pulls the crown out to position 1 to change the time and pulls it out one more click to quickset the date.
