It seems so dark and sad. yet it is an AMAZING floral lovers dream scent and new favorite! DEATH and DECAY contains ylang ylang oil, tonka absolute, rose oil and jasmine absolute. A true floral perfume! First spray you make out sweet fresh lilly notes. That sweetness is provided by the Tonka, and it's an almost earthy type of sweetness. There's nothing fruity or sugary about it. This is a heavy floral perfume, not a light one. The blossomy notes of the ylang ylang are deep and slightly dark, and the aroma is enhanced by the jasmine. Normally rose oil can provide some lightness to a perfume, but in this case I think it mainly adds another layer of floral to it. A deep and heavy lilly, the jasmine, the blossomy ylang ylang and the rounded freshness of the rose. This fragrance reminds me of a beautifully scented flower shop. Exp 6/2027. Retails at $160.
