First edition, third printing hardcover copy of Jitterbug Perfume by Tim Robbins (Bantam Books, 1984). Rare early copy of this beloved work of fantastical, allegorical literature, one of the most enduring works by this innovative author. Jacket is protected in new archival sleeve but with rubbing/scuffing to faces and heavy wear around the edges - including chipping, creases and tears. Boards are straight and clean but with corners bumped and some small tears to outer edges/corners. Binding is firm and spine is straight. Liquid damage to bottom edge of several pages with some faint soiling to outer edges of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition.
