This version of our popular linear LED strip tape product uses brighter SMD LEDs for higher ambient illumination. Unlike the standard strip tape product, this version is encased in a UV resistant, clear silicone jacket and mounts with Flexible Mounting Straps (sold separately). This product is suitable for wet locations and will resist cracking and/or discoloration from harmful UV rays. For interior installations, we recommend using our Interior HO Strip Tape which has a clear epoxy coating and is installed with 3M self-adhesive tape (supplied). The thin diameter and low profile form factor allow this product to be installed in areas too confined for traditional rope light. Each section comes with wire leads so your LED Strip Tape is ready to connect to your DC power source. If required, this HO Flexible LED Strip Tape may be cut to suit every 4" (12 volt version) or every 6" (24 volt version), being careful to seal the cut end with the End Cap (sold separately). All our LED strip tape products provide homogenous, uniform light distribution without shadows or hot spots and are a great way to enhance the lighting in your living space. Outdoor applications include overhangs, cockpit lighting, exterior valance, sign back-lighting, etc.

Note:
This product performs optimally with constant voltage at or near the specified voltage input. It is sensitive to over-voltage and transient spikes, therefore long term performance is dependent on the input voltage provided. For installation on boats, a power conditioner is recommended for maximum life of the product.
