Intricately carved cinnabar box, exact age is unknown but it is presumed to be vintage if not antique. The carving is extremely well done, and depicts multiple people walking in a garden surrounded by small buildings. The edges of the box are carved with floral motifs
This box has a few flaws that are shown in the photographs. There is a small scuff on the top right corner. There is some wear to the black paint on the base and inside. Two of the internal pieces that hold the lid in place are missing or damaged. Please look at ALL the photographs! They also include approximate measurements.
