As the product name suggests, this is a jigsaw puzzle made of real glass, not acrylic.
It is characterized by being made with advanced technology that cuts glass using a water jet.
At the time, it was known as the most difficult jigsaw puzzle in the world, and it is a puzzle of such high difficulty that even puzzles with only white or black pieces feel easy in comparison.
The biggest reason it's said to be the most difficult in the world is because it's made of glass, so you can't even tell the front and back of the pieces.
You just have to patiently search for where each piece fits, flipping it over to try both sides, so luck is also very important.
Although it has only 117 pieces, it is a puzzle of high difficulty befitting the title of the world's most difficult puzzle.
This puzzle is for advanced users, and beginners will likely give up before completing it.
We are looking for applications from brave individuals and experts who want to take on this ultra-difficult puzzle!
◆Specifications
Glass, 117 pieces
Size: Width 29.5cm, Height 23cm
◆Accessories
A special acrylic frame was custom-made by an acrylic shop that produces puzzle frames, ordered in 1mm increments. This is also included in the set (production cost: 13,000 yen).
It can also be hung on the wall using S-hooks.
〈Note〉
As shown in the photo, there is only one S-hook for hanging on the wall, so it is not very stable, and we recommend leaning it against something. There may be a way to hang it on the wall successfully with some ingenuity.
◆Condition
It has been stored in a box, away from sunlight, so it is in good condition. I listed it for sale in the past, but due to various circumstances, I am listing it again.
◆History
When it was sold, it cost around 120,000 to 150,000 yen, and I couldn't afford it. I found it for sale on Mercari and bought it when I had some extra money.
◆Product Details
I believe it was made by Onizuka Glass Co., Ltd. You can find information about it if you search. Although production and sales have already been discontinued, I remembered it because the website from that time is still available. The phrase expressing the high level of water jet cutting technology remains as it was.
This is a used item, so I cannot prove the above, but I believe that it was only made here at the time.
I have also included some photos of my personal progress during the construction.
