Set of two antique fancy piercework-edged plates, in fine porcelain. Each measures 9” in diameter.
Manufacturer: Carl Tielsch & Co. (C.T.), a German porcelain factory established in Altwasser, Silesia (now Stary Zdrój, Poland).
Period: The specific mark on the plates suggest a production period between approximately 1875 and 1909.
Colors are bright and images clear. Some wear/loss of gold paint on edging, owing to age and usage, but no other imperfections…free of chips or cracks. Nice condition for this age and these utilitarian pieces.
