This is a 30-gauge high-gauge crew neck knit from JOHN SMEDLEY.
It's a versatile, basic knit, so I think you can wear it widely, from the beginning of autumn as an outer, or as an inner layer for a jacket.
The color is also a popular navy. I don't think XL sizes come up for sale very often in used condition.
