"Pici és Anti" is the Hungarian title of the 1931 children's novel Pünktchen und Anton by German author Erich Kästner.

Original Title: Pünktchen und Anton (literally "Dot and Anton").
Author: Erich Kästner, a renowned German writer, best known for his humorous, realistic children's books and satirical poetry.
Illustrator: Illustrations by Walter Trier
Publication Year: 1932.
Publisher: Dante Publishing
Translator: Marcell Benedek.
Plot: The story follows the friendship between two children from very different social backgrounds in Berlin: "Pici" the daughter of a wealthy factory owner, and "Anti" the son of a poor, struggling mother. They experience various adventures and challenges that highlight social issues and class differences of the time.

Kästner's works were later banned and burned by the Nazis in 1933, as they were seen as "degenerate art" due to their critical and moralistic themes. The book is still widely read and has been adapted into several films.
