The E200s are machine taps for metric coarse threads. They meet the guidelines laid down by the German Standardization Institute and are manufactured from powder metal High Speed cobalt, which ensures a superior performance and longer tool life. The straight flute design makes them suitable for both through and blind holes whilst the bright finish means work piece material will not stick to the cutting edge, so giving you a more accurate finish on the thread. The E200 taps are available in sizes to create metric coarse threads from M2 to M10 and are very versatile products, being suitable for a wide range of materials including steels, stainless steel and aluminium.
