The Delta AFB1212HHE-PWM is medium speed, high air pressure cooling fan at 120 x 120 x 38mm. The PWM function gives you the best of both worlds by automatically adjust fan speed based on workload. You will enjoy quietness when the computer is working less hard but more air cooling is ensured automatically when workload increases. This versatile, premium quality cooling fan will provide you with 120.07 CFM of airflow, or 3.4 cubic meters per minute, with air pressure at 9 mmH2O, or 0.354 inH2O. Its airflow to noise ratio is 2.73:1. Life expectancy is 70,000 hours (or almost 16 years if you operate the fan 12 hours a day) at 40 Degree C with 15 - 65% RH, all thanks for industrial grade materials plus top notched, high-quality dual ball bearing. Operating temperature is -10 to +70 Degree C with 5 - 90% RH. Protection includes overcurrent shut-down protection when the rotor is locked and polarity protection which can withstand reverse connection on positive and negative leads. This fan does not contain ozone-depleting substances such as PBBs, PBBOs, CDCs, PBBEs, PBDPEs and HCFCs.

This fan has 4 wires lead with both PWM and Fan Speed Sensor output and a standard PWM 4-pin fan connector. You can still connect this fan to the 3-pin fan power socket on a common computer motherboard, but doing so will not give you the PWM function. You can also connect this fan to a typical fan controller through a 3-pin header on the fan controller but again doing so will not give you the PWM function. If you like to power this fan by a common computer power supply via its Molex 4 pin header a cable adapter (sold separately) will be needed and you will lose the PWM function as well. Wire lead is approximately 12.9 inches long, and net weight is approximately 257 grams or 9 ounces.
