The fabric has nice weight to it making the skirt swing in the prettiest way.
This dress has had the straps shortened. The torso was disproportionately long, making the neckline too low for a regular bra. I (as a novice sewist) brought the straps up so that the V neck would sit it at a comfortable height for a bra. One side has my measurement pen mark visible. I hand sewed the lining shut. Unfortunately the opportunity to wear it never came up
