Streetlife Serenade is the third studio album by American recording artist Billy Joel, released 1974.

Joel's third album, released in October of 1974, released as the follow-up to Joel's successful album Piano Man. Streetlife Serenade follows the musical direction of the previous album, albeit with less country instrumentation and more experimentation with electric pianos and synthesizers. Lyrically informed by Joel's observations of living in Los Angeles, the album is notable in Joel's catalogue for containing two instrumentals, the result, according to Joel, of not having enough material written for the album, released hurriedly to capitalize on Piano Man. The album sold less well than it's predecessor although much better than Cold Spring Harbor or Joel's subsequent release, and was eventually certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

"The Entertainer" was released as the sole single from the album in North America and became a Top 40 hit: "Root Beer Rag" was released as a single in the Netherlands.

Aside from "The Entertainer", "Los Angelenos" became a fan favourite after being included on Joel's 1981 live album Songs In The Attic, along with the title track: the live version was released as a single and had a music video produced for it.
