Bandai - Neko Busou: Funamori

Neko Busou -- "cat weapons" -- is a new plastic model series from Bandai that started as an April Fools joke, and became reality thanks to popular demand! Fans of mecha kits like Gunpla and Frame Arms who also have an affinity for cats will love these. Each kit comes with one fully painted cat figure for you to weaponize to your heart's content.

This set's featured kitty is a new longhaired kitty in a sitting position. Not only is this an all-new cat mold, but instead of the standard cardboard-box style carrier, Funamori comes with a basket for a seat instead! You can use the basket to equip the parts in this set -- and other sets -- to form great custom mechs, or the standard vehicle shown here. Neku Busou uses 3mm pegs so you can easily mix and match with your favorite Gunpla kits, too.
